Configuring the Ports for the Admin Console and Agents
You can configure the HTTP and HTTPS ports you want to use for the Cloudera Manager Admin Console and Agents.
To configure the ports for the Cloudera Manager Admin Console and Agents:
- From the Administration tab, select Settings.
- Under the Ports and Addresses
category, set the following options as described below:
HTTP Port for Admin Console
Specify the HTTP port to use to access the Server via the Admin Console.
HTTPS Port for Admin Console
Specify the HTTPS port to use to access the Server via the Admin Console.
Agent Port to connect to Server
Specify the port for Agents to use to connect to the Server.
- Click Save Changes.
- Restart the Cloudera Manager Server by typing the following command on the Cloudera Manager Server host:
$ sudo service cloudera-scm-server restart
